Are you an energetic, pro-active professional, looking for an exciting opportunity to advance your writing career in a dynamic, international environment? Come and join our team in the Maastricht head office of the European institute of Administration (EIPA), an important player in the training of public officials and development of public administrations in Europe and beyond. We are looking for an adaptable and successful writer to work with our (internal and external) experts to grow the market share of our institute’s training courses.

As our copywriter, you will work closely with colleagues across EIPA. • Managing and developing SEO content, cultivating topic ideas.
  • Serving as an internal journalist to find stories about our training courses, our faculty, and relevant (content) topics and presenting them through various digital media.
  • Coordinating content provided by others, making recommendations for new content and changes, while ensuring that content is both consistent and accurate.
  • Creating and maintaining a content database, ensuring that content is updated and that changes to our services are implemented timely.
  • Establishing and managing relationships, compliance and best practices with third party content providers as well as internal content authors.

Position requirements:

  • University or similar degree in communication / English / journalism (Master degree preferred).

  • Proven experience developing SEO content and expertise in SEO best practices and trends.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills required, faultless spelling, punctuation and grammar.
  • Pro-active team player.
  • Responsive and service minded.
  • Focused on quality and an eye for detail.
